The new Ping G410 LST Fairway wood features a slightly smaller head than the standard model, and as a result, has a lower and more forward CG placement to launch the ball higher with less spin. The LST, therefore, results in longer shots that launch easier, benefiting the golfer with faster swing speeds or that generates higher spin.
The smaller profile of the LST head will suit the eye of the better golfer, with the optimal CG location and shallower face helping launch strikes from the fairway high into the air with lower spin. This combination of launch and spin will allow you to be more attacking with your strikes from the fairway, you will confidently be able to stand up and clear that bunker in front of the green that you used to end up in with your old 3 wood. The LST Fairway wood also produces faster ball velocities with low spin because the club is designed to have impact occur higher on the face.
Another way the LST fairway produces outrageous ball speeds is due to the construction of the face. This is made of C300 maraging steel and is machined thin in and around the impact zone to produce more flexing upon contact with the golf ball, increasing ball speed.
The G410 LST fairway is not only long but also stable and forgiving thanks to the high-density tungsten weight which is positioned at the extreme perimeter of the club
The Ping G410 LST fairway will suit the golfer with a faster clubhead speed and who spins the ball a lot, with the construction of the club designed to reduce this whilst producing a high penetrating ball flight.

A slightly smaller head, optimal CG location and shallower face help to launch shots higher with less spin, resulting in longer shots that get airborne easily.
The low-back CG is slightly forward of G400 for faster ball speed with maximum stability and forgiveness. Impact occurs higher on the face, accelerating ball velocity with low spin for a long, penetrating ball flight.
A high-density tungsten weight at the extreme perimeter of the head increase stability and forgiveness. The face is made of C300 maraging steel (one of the strongest alloys in the world), and is machined extremely thin to produce more flexing for increasing ball speeds, shot height and distance.
Trajectory Tuning 2.0 in the G410 fairways utilize a new lightweight, aerodynamic hosel sleeve that provides eight positions for influencing ball flight through loft (±1.5°) and lie adjustments, including up to 3° flatter than standard.
The next generation of PING's proprietary counter-balanced shaft is lightweight and high-launching while offering more stability and a consistent feel. An eight-gram counterweight in the grip end helps shift the CG higher, allowing for an increase in energy transfer and momentum, resulting in more ball speed and greater forgiveness.
