The Titleist GT2 fairway wood is engineered for golfers seeking a blend of fast ball speeds, high launch, low spin, and exceptional forgiveness across the face. It features a classic, clean, tour-inspired look at address, with a mid-sized, pear-shaped profile and a shallow face design that appeals to players with a more sweeping delivery who want performance off the tee or the turf. The club has a solid sound and feel at impact that has been well received by players.

Key performance is achieved through a multi-material construction featuring an ultra-lightweight Seamless Thermoform Crown made from a proprietary matrix polymer, a material much lighter than steel. This significant weight saving allowed engineers to position the center of gravity (CG) lower and closer to the face than its predecessor (the TSR2), which boosts the launch angle and reduces spin for maximum carry distance. Additionally, a new Forged L-Cup face, made from high-strength 465 stainless steel, wraps around the sole to improve ball speed retention and feel on impacts struck low on the face, a common miss for many players. The sole has also been subtly flattened from heel to toe to improve turf interaction and enhance forgiveness on off-center strikes. The 15° 3-wood model includes the SureFit hosel, allowing golfers to tune the loft and lie for an optimized ball flight.
